We need welders who work to drawings, clean up their welds and hand over structures ready for painting.
What you will do
- Fabricating and installing railings and balustrades
- Balcony structures and frames for glazing
- Steel frames for worktops, shelving, stairs and partitions
- Cleaning welds, priming, preparing for paint
- Site measuring and checking against drawings
What we expect from you
- At least 3 years of experience, photos of railings and frames you have made
- Your own tools are required: welder, angle grinder, levels, PPE
- Able to work to drawings and measure accurately
- Fire safety on sites with finished surfaces
How the site inspector accepts the work
- Continuous welds with no burn-through, porosity or spatter, ground clean
- Geometry per drawing: dimensions and diagonals, plumb within 1 mm per metre
- Fixing to the structure as designed, no play in the frame
- Steel primed, surrounding finishes free of spark damage
Payment by stages
Finish a stage — we check it — we pay right away. No waiting for the whole project. Piece-rate pay; rates are discussed individually.
We pay only for accepted work. Rework is at your own expense. Your own tools are required; we buy the materials.

It depends on the structure. Measuring and installation are on site; fabrication arrangements are discussed on the call.

Yes, the company buys materials to the drawings and specification.
