Can a chandelier go on a stretch ceiling?
Yes, if there's a mounting plate behind the membrane rated for its weight. If there isn't, the ceiling needs careful rework — we'll tell you upfront what's possible in your case.
Why does my LED strip flicker or glow unevenly?
Usually it's an underpowered driver, poor connections or a long run fed from one end only. We fit a driver with spare capacity and feed long runs from both ends where needed.

What the work includes
The electrician assembles and fixes the chandelier, cuts holes for the downlights, mounts the track rail, fits the profile and driver for the strip, and runs cable to the wall lights. We hide cables and drivers so that only the light is visible. At the end we switch on each circuit separately, set up the dimmers and sensors, and tidy up after ourselves.
A chandelier on a stretch ceiling
A heavy chandelier cannot be hung directly on the membrane. It needs a mounting plate that is fixed to the concrete slab before the membrane is stretched and carries the weight of the fitting. If there is no mounting plate, the ceiling has to be reworked: part of the membrane is taken down, a base is fitted and the membrane is stretched again. That is why it is best to know the position and weight of the future chandelier before the ceiling is installed.
LED strip: why it flickers and lights unevenly
Most often one of three factors is to blame. The driver was chosen without spare capacity and overheats. The connections are made with twisted wires, and the contact drops out. A long length of strip is powered from one end, so the voltage drops towards the far end and the brightness fades. The fixes are simple: a driver with spare power, soldering or reliable connectors, and feeding power from both ends on long runs.
Bathroom, balcony, terrace
In wet areas the light fitting housing must have a protection rating of at least IP44: such fittings are not affected by splashes and condensation. On an open terrace by the sea it is better to choose models with extra protection, because salt and moisture gradually destroy cheap housings.
