How much does furniture assembly cost?
Hourly work is 35 ₾ per hour, minimum 1 hour. A wardrobe is from 80 ₾, a bed from 60 ₾, a store-bought kitchen from 60 ₾ per running metre. That's labour only; the furniture and materials are yours.
How much is the call-out?
The call-out within Batumi is included for orders from 150 ₾. For smaller orders it's 50 ₾.

The furniture has been delivered, but the boxes sit in the hallway for weeks: a forty-page instruction manual, hinges missing from the kit, and a two-metre wardrobe that one person can't lift. Furniture assembly in Batumi takes a fitter with the right tools many times less time than an owner with a screwdriver, and comes without crooked doors. We work with furniture from any shop, including kitchens.
How much assembly costs
- hourly rate for small items — from 35 ₾ per hour, one hour minimum;
- hinged or sliding-door wardrobe up to 2 m high — from 80 ₾;
- bed — from 60 ₾, another 20 ₾ with a lift-up mechanism;
- kitchen from the shop: carcasses, fronts, hanging — from 60 ₾ per linear metre;
- hanging shelves and mirrors with drilling and fixings — from 20 ₾ each.
The call-out within the city is free if the order is from 150 ₾; for a smaller amount it costs 50 ₾. For example, a wardrobe, a bed with a lift-up mechanism and three shelves come to 220 ₾, and you won't have to pay for the call-out. The price covers labour only; the furniture itself and any extra fixings are yours or are bought according to the estimate.
How to find out the price before the visit
Send photos of the boxes, a link to the product or the instructions. From these the fitter will assess the job and give you the cost before the visit, and the amount will not change on site.
Why tall wardrobes are fixed to the wall
A wardrobe or shelving unit taller than a person can tip over if several drawers are opened at once or if a child leans on a shelf. That is why we always fix tall furniture to the wall. In Batumi's new builds the walls are often aerated concrete block or drywall, and the standard fixings from the box won't hold there. We choose fixings for the specific wall so that the wardrobe stays perfectly still a year later too.
What the fitter does on site
He assembles wardrobes with door hanging and adjustment, beds including models with a lift-up mechanism, and kitchen carcasses with fronts. He hangs shelves, mirrors and shelving units. He levels the furniture and adjusts the drawers and fronts so that the gaps are even. If we find a defect or missing parts from the shop, we will tell you straight away and send photos for your claim.
Assembly without you being there
For flats that are let, this is a common scenario. We agree access to the flat, the fitter meets the delivery, assembles the furniture, clears away the packaging and sends photos of the result. All the owner has to do is check the pictures.
