How much does AC repair cost?

Why is water leaking from the indoor unit?

- The outdoor unit won't start. On-site diagnostics are needed.
If the mains supply in your building is unstable and the air conditioner has already suffered from surges, it's worth considering a voltage relay or stabiliser, otherwise the fault will come back.
What to check yourself before calling us
Sometimes the cause is simpler than it seems. Replace the batteries in the remote and make sure the right mode is selected: "cool", not "fan" or "dry". Check whether the air conditioner's breaker in the panel has tripped. Take out the filters: if they're grey with dust, airflow drops by half and the unit seems broken. If nothing changes after that, switch the air conditioner off and don't switch it on again until it has been inspected, especially if it's crackling or smells of burning.
