    When to lay the pipework

    • Your renovation is underway and walls are still open
    • You don't want trunking or pipes on the walls
    • You'll buy the AC later but don't want to chase walls again
    • You're planning AC in several rooms
    • You want a drain without a tube down the facade
Not sure this is what you need?Send a photo on WhatsApp — we’ll advise

    What’s included

    • Copper run in the wall — two insulated pipes and the interconnect cable
    • Drain into the sewer — condensate goes down the waste, not onto the facade
    • Dedicated power circuit — its own breaker in the panel and the right cable
    • Pressure test — we check the run before plastering
    • Capped ends — no dust or moisture gets into the pipes
    • Photo report and layout — you know where the pipes run, so nobody drills into them

    How we work

    1. 1

      Layout

Together we pick unit positions and the capacity for each room.

    2. 2

      Chasing and laying

We run the copper, drain and cable in the wall or ceiling.

    3. 3

      Pressure test and photos

We pressure-test the run and photograph it before the walls are closed.

    4. 4

      Finishing

The walls are closed, the pipe ends stay capped.

    5. 5

      Unit connection

When the finishing is done, we mount the AC and start it up.

    FAQ

How much does AC pre-installation cost?

A pipe run up to 3 m is from 150 ₾, each extra metre is 40 ₾, a drain into the sewer is 60 ₾ and a dedicated power circuit is 120 ₾. We work out the total from your layout before starting.

Do I need to buy the AC first?

No. We only need the approximate capacity to choose the pipe diameter and cable size. We can help you choose a model.

    Why a dedicated power circuit?

An air conditioner is a noticeable load on the wiring. Its own circuit with a breaker in the panel won't trip the room sockets and is safer.

Why route the drain into the sewer in Batumi?

In the humid seaside climate an AC produces a lot of condensate in summer. A tube down the facade drips onto balconies below and stains the wall. A sewer connection through a trap solves this without smells.

What if the pipework gets damaged after finishing?

We pressure-test and photograph everything before the walls are closed, so any defect shows up straight away. Hidden engineering within a full renovation has a 5-year warranty, standalone installation work 12 months.

AC pre-installation in Batumi: lay the lines now, hang the unit later

While the walls are open, the line goes into a chase in a couple of hours of work. After painting, the same route means either a new chase with re-skimming or a white trunking running across half the room. That is why AC pipework is laid at the renovation stage, even if you buy the air conditioner itself six months later. You do not need to know the model in advance: an approximate capacity is enough to choose the diameter of the copper pipes and the cable cross-section.

What a concealed line consists of

    • Two insulated copper pipes and an interconnecting cable.
    • A drain that carries condensate into the sewer.
    • A dedicated electrical circuit with its own breaker in the panel.
    • Pressure testing before plastering.
    • Capped pipe ends so that dust and moisture do not get inside.
    • A photo report and a routing diagram, so that years later nobody drills through a pipe while putting up a shelf.

    If there are several rooms

It is better to lay the lines for all rooms in one go, even if you buy one air conditioner first. The technician will run them along one route, the electrician will set aside circuits in the panel for all the units at once, and the walls will not have to be opened a second time.

    Pre-installation prices

A line of up to 3 m with copper, insulation and cable in the wall costs from 150 ₾. Each metre beyond that costs from 40 ₾. A drain into the sewer adds from 60 ₾, a dedicated power circuit from 120 ₾, pressure testing from 40 ₾. We calculate the total from your floor plan, and you know it before the first chase appears.

Why the drain goes into the sewer and not out onto the facade

In summer, with Batumi's humidity, an air conditioner produces a lot of condensate. A pipe led outside drips onto the balconies of the floors below and leaves rusty streaks on the facade. Connecting to the sewer through a trap solves this without any odours in the flat.

    Why a dedicated power circuit

An air conditioner puts a noticeable load on the wiring. If it shares a circuit with the sockets, switching on a kettle or an iron can trip the breaker for the whole room. A circuit of its own with a breaker in the panel takes care of this.

    Sequence of work

    1. We choose the unit positions and estimate the capacity for each room.
    2. We cut chases and lay the copper, drain and cable in the wall or ceiling.
    3. We pressure-test the circuit and photograph every metre of the route before plastering.
    4. The finishers close up the walls; the pipe ends stay capped.
    5. After the finishing work we connect the units.

Pressure testing before plastering reveals a defect immediately, while it can still be fixed without opening the wall. If the line is part of a full renovation, the guarantee on concealed services is 5 years; on a standalone pre-installation it is 12 months.

    Pipework in before the finish

Send your floor plan or room photos. If we're doing your renovation, the AC run goes into the same schedule.
