Will a wall-hung toilet hold an adult's weight?
Yes. The load is carried by a steel frame standing on the floor, not by the wall. If the wall is lightweight block or plasterboard, we add floor fixings and reinforce the base.
If the frame breaks, will you have to remove the tiles?
No. Valves and the flush mechanism are replaced through the opening behind the flush plate. That is why the access must stay open and the frame must be a decent one.
Can the toilet be moved to another spot?
Often yes, as long as the drain has enough slope: the further from the stack, the higher the outlet has to be. We will tell you on site whether it works in your flat.
I live abroad. Can it be done without me?
Yes. We agree the frame and price on WhatsApp or Telegram and send photos before the wall is closed plus a video of the flush test. Small jobs are paid after completion.

Will it hold an adult
The load is carried not by the wall but by a steel frame with feet on the floor. It is fixed to the wall, the floor or both, depending on the material. In Batumi new builds, partitions are often made of lightweight blocks or plasterboard, and then the frame is additionally fixed to the floor and the base is reinforced. A correctly assembled concealed frame easily holds an adult's weight.
What happens behind the wall
We set the frame level and at a comfortable bowl height. We bring the water in with an isolation valve inside the frame, which can be reached through the opening under the flush plate. We run the waste with a fall and a sealed outlet. Then we test the flush and all the joints under working pressure, and only after that do we box the frame in with moisture-resistant plasterboard. The tiles are laid by our finishers or your own tradesman, and the toilet is hung on the finished cladding, over a sound-insulating gasket.
Will the tiles have to be broken if it fails
No. The valves and flush mechanism are replaced through the opening under the flush plate, so this opening must not be glued shut or tiled over. A cistern repair usually takes one visit.
Moving the toilet
A toilet can be moved to a new position if there is enough fall on the waste pipe. The further it is from the stack, the higher the outlet has to be, and sometimes this means a plinth or boxing. The real options can only be seen at an inspection.

- We inspect the wall and the stack and choose the frame.
- We assemble and fix the frame and bring in the water and waste.
- We test the flush and photograph the connections before they are closed up.
- We box in the frame, after which the tiles are laid.
