How much does radiator installation cost?
Fitting a radiator is from 120 ₾ each, pipework is 90 ₾ per point, and a full system flush is 150 ₾. We give the exact price after the survey, before work starts.
Do I need heating in Batumi if winters are mild?
There's rarely frost, but winters are damp and chilly. Without heating, moisture builds up and you get condensation and mould. Radiators dry the air better than an AC alone.
What powers the radiators?
Usually a wall-hung gas boiler that also heats your water. If there's no gas, an electric boiler works too. We can install the boiler as well.
Why flush the system?

Heating and radiators in Batumi: a warm, dry flat in winter
Many people buy a flat in Batumi in summer and do not think about heating until their first December arrives. There is hardly any frost, but in unheated rooms the humidity rises, the walls turn cold, condensation settles on the windows and mould takes hold in the corners. Heating and radiators are needed here not so much for warmth as for dry air. Most often the system runs from a wall-mounted gas boiler, which heats the water as well. If the building has no gas, we install an electric boiler.

How to size radiators
The number of sections is not calculated from the floor area alone. A corner room, panoramic glazing, a north-facing side or a high ceiling all call for extra output. We put the radiator under the window: warm air rises and cuts off the cold from the glass, which is exactly where moisture settles. We run the pipes concealed in the wall or floor, or surface-mounted if the renovation is already finished. We film the concealed sections while the walls are open, so that years later it is clear where each pipe runs.
Thermostatic heads and rental flats
A thermostatic head keeps the set temperature in the room and stops the boiler heating for nothing. For a rental flat this is a convenient tool: you can limit heating for guests, and in winter, with no guests, keep a low temperature that is just enough to stop damp from setting in. An owner abroad saves on gas and does not find patches of mould behind the wardrobe in spring.
Why flush the system
Over time, sludge and air build up in the pipes and radiators. The signs are familiar: the top of the radiator is hot and the bottom cold, one room heats up worse than the others, the boiler is noisy. Flushing removes the deposits; afterwards the radiators heat evenly and the boiler runs without overload.
