How much is a smart lock with installation?
A lock for rental flats starts from 300 ₾, a Wi-Fi lock from 550 ₾, the Aqara A100 is 950 ₾. Installation is 150 ₾. If the door needs adjusting, we'll tell you from the photos before visiting.
Will a smart lock fit my door?
Most metal front doors in Batumi new-builds are fine. Send photos of the door and the lock edge, and we'll tell you which models fit without rework.
What if the batteries die?
The lock warns you about low battery in advance. If it still runs flat, the door opens with a mechanical key or via USB-C from a powerbank, depending on the model.
Can I let a guest in while I'm abroad?
Yes. Wi-Fi or hub-connected models open from the app, and you can send the guest a temporary code that stops working after check-out.
Does the lock need internet?
No. Fingerprint, code and card work offline. Internet is only needed for remote unlocking and alerts.
Smart locks in Batumi: a model to suit your door and how you use it
An ordinary key is a poor fit for a flat that is let or visited only now and then. A guest loses the keys, the cleaner has a copy made, and the flight lands at three in the morning when there is nobody to hand over the keys. A smart lock solves this with a code, a fingerprint or your phone. It is fitted in place of the developer's lock, and most metal doors in Batumi's new builds are suitable for it. To say for sure, we need three photos: the door from outside, from inside and its edge. From these we can see the thickness of the door leaf and the position of the bolts, and therefore whether any adaptation will be needed.

Fitting or replacement with setting up the codes and the app costs from 150 ₾. Connecting to a hub with notifications about openings, low battery and guest codes costs from 80 ₾. We usually compare two or three models for your door and agree the price before installation. If you have already bought a lock, we will fit it.
For apartments with a steady stream of guests, a hotel-style lock at 300 ₾ and up is convenient. It works just like in a hotel: a card is issued for the length of the stay, and a lost one is blocked and reprogrammed in a minute, without calling a locksmith.
How the door opens
Depending on the model, up to six methods are available: fingerprint, PIN code, card, NFC, face recognition and a mechanical key. Temporary codes with a specific validity period are created for guests, tradesmen and cleaners, and the app shows the history of all openings. After a guest checks out, their code simply stops working, so there is no need to change the cylinder.
Battery and internet
The lock warns you in advance when the batteries are running low, with a notification on your phone. If you still miss the moment, the door will open with a mechanical key or via a USB-C port from an ordinary power bank, depending on the model. The internet is not needed at all for fingerprint, code and card. It is only required for remote opening and notifications, which are provided either by built-in Wi-Fi or by a hub.
Installation step by step

- We show you how to give guests access and leave you an instruction sheet.
