    Will my AC work with it?

    Almost any AC with a remote can be controlled through an IR hub — Aqara or Tuya. Many new models already have Wi-Fi, so set-up is enough.

    How much is phone control for an AC?

    Set-up is 60 ₾ per unit. If you don't have a hub yet, the Aqara M100 is 110 ₾ plus 80 ₾ to connect.

    How does it help with damp?

    A humidity sensor watches the flat. When humidity is too high, a scene switches the AC to dry mode or turns on ventilation and sends you an alert.

    Can you connect a gas boiler?

    Yes, most boilers are controlled through a dry-contact relay, like a room thermostat. We don't touch the gas side of the boiler.

    Smart climate control in Batumi: the same equipment, a different way to control it

    In Batumi summers are hot and humid, and winters are not cold but damp. An apartment that stands empty from October to May has time to soak up moisture, and the owner finds out from the smell and the patches in the corners. Smart climate control connects the air conditioners, radiators, boiler and underfloor heating you already have to a single app, without changing anything in the equipment itself. An Aqara temperature and humidity sensor, from 69 ₾, monitors the air and, when a threshold is exceeded, switches on dehumidifying or the extractor fan and sends you a notification. The app keeps a history of readings, and the graph shows which weeks the apartment starts to get damp, and therefore when to run ventilation more often.

    Air conditioner from your phone

    Almost any air conditioner with a remote control can be connected through an Aqara or Tuya IR hub: the hub simply repeats the remote's commands. Models with their own Wi-Fi module just need setting up. The work costs from 60 ₾ per air conditioner, and an Aqara M100 hub will cost 110 ₾ plus 80 ₾ for connection. Infrared control has a limitation: the signal is one-way, and the air conditioner does not report whether it has received the command. That is why we place a temperature sensor next to it, which shows that cooling really is running.

    Radiators room by room

    An Aqara thermostatic head, from 169 ₾, replaces the standard valve on a radiator. Installation with pairing costs from 30 ₾ each. You can keep the bedroom at 19 degrees and the nursery at 22, and turn the heating down in empty rooms while you are away.

    Boiler and underfloor heating

    A gas boiler or water underfloor heating is brought onto your phone through a dry-contact relay, from 120 ₾. The relay is connected to the room thermostat terminals and switches the heating on or off on command. We do not touch the gas part of the boiler. Connection costs from 120 ₾.

    Scenes

    Setting up scenes starts from 100 ₾:

    • "Cool before arrival" switches on the air conditioner an hour before your flight lands.
    • "Dry out" runs dehumidifying in the closed-up apartment every few days.
    • "Everyone out" switches off the air conditioners and lowers the radiator temperature.
    • When humidity in the bathroom is high, the extractor fan starts by itself.
