Custom furniture in Batumi: made for your apartment, not a catalogue

Apartments in Batumi new builds rarely fit shop dimensions. A column in the middle of a wall, an 87-centimetre niche, a three-metre ceiling: a ready-made wardrobe leaves half a metre of empty space on top that collects dust, and a gap at the side where nothing fits. Custom furniture uses every centimetre, from floor to ceiling. The price includes materials, hardware and fitting, there is no extra charge for installation, and measuring is always free.

Custom kitchens

Kitchens are priced from 900 ₾ per running metre. A straight kitchen up to 2.4 m with a sink and built-in appliances starts at 2,200 ₾. Fronts are made of laminated chipboard or MDF: chipboard is cheaper and more practical, while foil-wrapped or lacquered MDF gives more colours and finishes. The top row goes up to the ceiling to hold the things you need once a year. Worktops are quartz or acrylic, from 450 ₾ per running metre with a sink cut-out.

The main advice: design the kitchen before the electrics and plumbing. Then sockets, water and the extractor end up exactly where the units expect them, and nobody has to chase finished walls. A kitchen can be fitted into a completed renovation too, but there will be fewer options.

Wardrobes and walk-in closets

A sliding-door wardrobe costs from 650 ₾ per m². Its doors don't open into the room, so it saves a narrow bedroom or studio. A hinged built-in wardrobe starts at 700 ₾ and gives access to everything at once. If there is a niche, we build the wardrobe without side panels: the niche walls become its walls, which saves material. With a stretch ceiling, a floor-to-ceiling wardrobe needs a mounting in the membrane — better agreed before it is stretched.

A walk-in closet costs from 500 ₾ per running metre. It can be set up in the corner of a bedroom or converted from a storage room, on a chipboard carcass or a metal frame, open or with doors.

Hallway and bathroom

A hallway unit with a wardrobe, shoe cabinet and bench costs from 700 ₾ per running metre. In rainy Batumi we plan a spot where wet shoes and an umbrella can dry without flooding the floor. For the bathroom we make vanities, tall units and wall cabinets from 450 ₾ each, only from moisture-resistant materials. Ordinary chipboard by a basin swells within a season.

Furniture and humidity

A wardrobe against an outside wall lives differently in Batumi than in a dry climate. Push it tight to the wall and condensation collects behind the back panel with no air movement, and after one winter mould appears there. So we leave a ventilation gap by outside walls, and in the lower kitchen units by the sink we use moisture-resistant materials and edge banding on every cut edge.

Furniture for rental apartments

For apartments on Airbnb and Booking durability and well-thought-out storage matter most. A typical set for a studio: a kitchen, a hallway wardrobe, a headboard with sockets and a small workspace. A hallway wardrobe for a studio costs from 900 ₾. A full set is priced from the design, and owners abroad get photos at every stage.

3. We agree the design and fix the price in the contract.
4. In 2 – 3 weeks we deliver and assemble the furniture and adjust the fronts on site.
