Handyman in Batumi: your whole to-do list in one visit

Small repairs pile up unnoticed. The curtain rail still isn't up since the move, a wardrobe door has gone crooked, the balcony door lets in a draught, and the silicone in the bathroom has turned black. Each job on its own gets put off, but together they add up to half a day's work. A handyman in Batumi gets through such a list in one visit: the first hour costs 60 ₾, each following hour 40 ₾, and an hour is usually enough for two to four simple jobs.

How to save the handyman's time and your money

Send your list with photos on WhatsApp or Telegram in advance. The handyman will estimate the time, tell you which materials to buy and bring the right fixings. Without that, part of the visit goes on a trip to the hardware store. The call-out is 50 ₾, but if the list comes to 150 ₾ or more, the visit itself is free. Materials are not included: you can buy them yourself or let the handyman buy them to an agreed estimate. You pay once the whole list is done.

Why a plain wall plug won't do in a new build

Walls in Batumi new builds are often aerated block or plasterboard. An ordinary plastic plug holds poorly in these materials, and a TV on a bracket starts tilting forward within a month. For aerated block and plasterboard we use special fixings, and heavy shelves on plasterboard go only into the frame studs. Mounting a TV, a shelf or a curtain rail costs from 40 ₾ each. You buy the bracket, or the handyman brings one by arrangement.

Windows and doors by the sea

Salty air and sun harden rubber seals faster than in a continental climate. The window starts to let in a draught, and in winter condensation collects on the frame. Replacing seals costs from 10 ₾ per metre, adjusting a uPVC window sash from 50 ₾, a balcony door from 80 ₾. A fly screen on the frame, with measuring and fitting, costs from 60 ₾: in summer you can't leave the window open at night without one.

Furniture, handles, locks

We assemble wardrobes, beds and chests of drawers from the shop from 35 ₾ an hour. We replace handles, hinges and locks from 25 ₾ each and adjust crooked fronts. If the apartment has a smart lock, its fitting and setup can go on the list too.

For rental apartments

Something always breaks between guests: a handle comes off, a curtain rail works loose, a drain gets blocked. Small repairs between guests cost from 80 ₾. Before the season it pays to order an apartment check, first hour from 60 ₾: the handyman goes over the windows, doors, furniture and plumbing and renews the bathroom silicone with an anti-fungal sealant. The owner doesn't need to come: access goes through the manager or by code, and we send the result in photos. A recent job: in October 2026 we put up a curtain rail in the living room of an apartment in Dar Tower for clients who live in England.
