    What’s included

    • Shadow-gap profile — a neat gap between wall and membrane instead of a cornice
    • Floating profile — LED strip inside, so the ceiling seems to hover
    • Light lines — profile, diffuser and LED strip set into the membrane
    • Magnetic track — flush with the ceiling, fittings can be moved around
    • Membrane — matte or satin PVC, or fabric if you prefer
    • Lighting plan — we draw the lines and switch groups before installation

    FAQ

How much does a shadow-gap ceiling with light lines cost?

Shadow-gap profile is from 40 ₾ per linear metre, floating profile with lighting 55 ₾, a light line 60 ₾ and a magnetic track 90 ₾ per linear metre. Membrane is 30 ₾ per m². We give the total after the free measurement and fix it before work starts.

Can light lines be added to an existing stretch ceiling?

Usually not: lines sit between sections of membrane, so the old one has to come down. It's best to plan the shadow gap and lighting from the start.

Does a shadow gap work with uneven walls?

A shadow gap shows up any wave in the wall. If the wall is uneven, it's better to level it first or choose a floating profile — we'll advise at the measurement.

Will Batumi humidity damage the LED lighting?

The strip sits inside a closed profile or under a diffuser, and drivers go somewhere dry and accessible. For bathrooms we choose moisture-protected options.

Can you do it while I'm abroad?

Yes. We agree the lighting plan and price over WhatsApp or Telegram and send photos as we go. We just need access — keys with a neighbour or building manager are fine.

Shadow-gap and floating ceilings, light lines in Batumi

An ordinary stretch ceiling meets the wall via a plastic insert, and this seam is always visible. Architectural profiles remove it. A shadow-gap ceiling is separated from the wall by a neat dark gap, a floating ceiling seems to hang in the air thanks to perimeter lighting, and light lines turn light into part of the room's geometry. In Batumi these solutions are chosen for living rooms, bedrooms and apartments that should stay in guests' memory.

    What the difference is

A shadow-gap profile leaves a gap of about a centimetre between the membrane and the wall. Instead of a cornice you get a thin shadow, and the ceiling visually lifts away from the walls. The look is strict and minimalist.

A floating profile hides an LED strip around the perimeter. The light falls on the wall as a soft halo, and the ceiling looks light. It works well as evening lighting without the main chandelier.

Light lines are built right into the membrane: a narrow profile with a diffuser and a strip inside. They are run in straight lines, at angles or along the outline of a zone. A magnetic track is also recessed into the ceiling, and swivel spotlights that can be moved around are attached to it.

    Cost by type

    • Shadow-gap profile: from 40 ₾ per metre of perimeter.
    • Floating perimeter with lighting: from 55 ₾ per metre of perimeter.
    • Light line: from 60 ₾ per metre of length.
    • Magnetic track recessed into the membrane: from 90 ₾ per metre.
    • Matt or satin membrane: from 30 ₾ per m².
    • Driver and connection: from 50 ₾ each.

You pay for the profiles, strip and membrane according to the estimate. Measuring is free, and you will know the full price straight after it.

    A lighting plan comes first

Light lines cannot be added to a finished ceiling: the membrane would have to be taken down. That is why before installation we draw a plan showing where the lines run, where the tracks go and where the wires come out. We place the drivers somewhere accessible so that, if one fails, it can be replaced without removing the membrane.

    Straight walls are a must

A shadow gap highlights every irregularity. If a wall leans by a couple of millimetres, the gap will be wider in some places and narrower in others, and it shows. Before installation it is better to level the wall, and if that is not possible, to choose a floating profile: the light disguises the unevenness.

    Moisture

The strip sits inside the profile under the diffuser and is protected from dust and moisture. We put the drivers in dry places. For the bathroom we choose a protected version.

    Installation steps

    1. Free measuring.
    2. Lighting plan and estimate.
    3. Preparing the wiring and the places for the drivers.
    4. Installing the profiles, lines, track and membrane, usually in one day.
    5. Checking all circuits, gaps and joints.

We guarantee the work for three years. You can order from abroad: we will discuss the lighting plan and the cost by message, and all we need is access to the flat.
