What to know about New Wave

  • Apartments were handed over as black frame: if nothing has been done yet, we start with partitions, plaster, screed and wiring — the estimate takes 2 days
  • The facade is a glass curtain wall with floor-to-ceiling glazing: tall furniture cannot go along the windows, so storage moves to the inner walls and curtains hang on a ceiling track
  • Natural gas is connected to the building: the gas service connects the hob or boiler, and we prepare the kitchen for it — niche, extractor hood, appliance layout
  • A hotel with 24/7 reception operates in the building: we arrange passes for our team and noisy-work hours in advance so guests are not disturbed
  • Completed at the end of 2019: in renovated apartments it is time to redo silicone and grout, service the air conditioners and check mixers and traps
  • 250 m to the sea and units of about 38 – 77 m² make a popular short-let format: we use hard-wearing finishes, a smart lock and easy-to-clean furniture

My New Wave apartment is still black frame — where do I start?

A tradesman comes to measure walls and floors and checks where pipes and wiring will run. Within 2 days you have an estimate for every stage, and the contract price does not change after that.

What will a renovation in New Wave cost?

For a 50 m² apartment, white-frame work starts at 32,500 ₾ without furniture — 650 ₾ per metre. Rough work for a black frame is a separate line after the survey.

Can you refresh an apartment that was already renovated?

Yes: wall painting, new mixers and lights, fresh grout and silicone, made-to-measure furniture. It is quicker and cheaper than a full renovation, and guests see an apartment that looks new.

How does it work if I do not live in Batumi?

We collect the key from the hotel reception, send photos and videos every Friday, and you pay for each stage after seeing the result.

There is a sewage smell in the apartment — where does it come from?

Most often a trap has dried out in a rarely used drain or basin, or the shower was connected without a trap. Sometimes an extractor fan pulls air from the stack. A plumber finds the cause in one visit.

How fast can you get to New Wave?
